Parking and Transportation Services provides personnel and equipment for complimentary roadside assistance. Parking representatives will assist with the following:

• Dead Battery
  Cables will be used to jumpstart a dead battery.

• Lockout
  Locked vehicles will be opened. Parking representatives may elect not to assist a motorist who has a vehicle with automatic locking doors or side impact air bags. In such an event, phone contact with a locksmith or tow agency will be provided.

• Empty Fuel Tank
  A gas can and transportation to the nearest gas station will be provided.

• Deflated Tire
  Tires will be inflated using either a can of Fix-a-Flat, an air compressor, or a combination of both. Parking representatives will not assist in the changing of tires.

Services are available everyday 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Participating motorists must sign a waiver releasing the University from any liability in the event a vehicle is damaged. To be eligible for assistance, the vehicle must display a valid annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, or daily permit. The vehicle must be located on the UC Irvine main campus (locations not eligible include: University Center, Irvine apartment communities, and Albertson's parking lot).

Personal vehicle repair and maintenance activities may not be conducted on University property by Parking and Transportation Services staff or vehicle owners.
