RE: Redelegation of Authority - Deferral of Payment of University Registration Fee for Teaching Assistants
The authority to approve deferral of the payment of the University Registration Fee for 40 calendar days for Teaching Assistants, was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 0409, April 4, 1973. I am redelegating that authority to the Vice Chancellor for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies and the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies. With an approved deferral, a Teaching Assistant need not pay the Registration Fee until after receiving the first payroll check.
Any redelegation of this authority should be in writing with copies to the list below.
This delegation supersedes the May 27, 1986 delegation of authority from Chancellor Peltason on the same subject.
