RE: Delegation of Purchasing Authority--Subagreements

The Vice Chancellor–Research, the Associate Vice Chancellor–Research Administration, Executive Director–Sponsored Projects Administration, Associate Director–Sponsored Projects Administration, Assistant Director–Sponsored Projects Administration, Supervising Principal Contract and Grant Officers, Principal Subcontract Officers and Subcontract Officers are delegated the authority to execute subagreements for conducting a portion of the programmatic work under research, training, or public service contracts or grants. This authority is subject to the following:

  1. The conditions of Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 2100, June 11, 1998, regarding execution of purchase contracts, subcontracts, and standard purchase orders for materials, goods, and services to be supplied to the University, and
  2. The special terms and conditions, including patent clauses, required by the particular prime contract or grant shall be included in each subagreement issued.

This authority may not be further redelegated and supersedes IDA 400, dated April 6, 2005, on the same subject.
