RE: Delegation of Authority - Declaration of Official Intent to Reimburse Capital Expenditures from Proceeds of Indebtedness
The authority to act as the President's designee to declare the official intent of The Regents to reimburse expenditures related to capital improvement projects or capital purchases (including building and/or equipment acquisition) from the proceeds of future taxable or tax-exempt debt obligations to be issued by The Regents was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 2055, March 28, 1996.
I am redelegating that authority to the Vice Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer–Planning and Budget, subject to the terms of the attached Resolution of The Regents of the University of California and related implementation instructions.
In your absence only, the Assistant Vice Chancellor–Budget Office is delegated the same authorities and responsibilities as stated herein.
This authority may not be further redelegated.
This delegation supersedes Chancellor Drake's May 10, 2010 delegation, IDA 503, on the same subject.
