ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATORS, DEANS, DIRECTORS, AND DEPARTMENT CHAIRS
RE: Redelegation of Authority - Removal and Moving Expenses: Academic
Appointees
Academic Deans, the Department of Education Director, the Information
and Computer Science Chair, and the University Librarian are delegated
the authority to approve removal and moving expenses for academic
appointees, subject to the following requirements:
1. Full compliance with all policies and procedures including those set forth in Sections 550, 560, and 561 of the Academic Personnel Manual and Section 715-16 of the Campus Policy and Procedures Manual; and
2. The availability of department funds.
This redelegation of authority may not be redelegated further.
Authority to grant exceptions to the policies on removal and moving expenses is not redelegated from the Chancellor.
This redelegation of authority supersedes that dated February
12, 1986.
