EXECUTIVE VICE CHANCELLOR

RE: Delegation of Authority -- Appointment and Salary Approval of Acting Deans

The authority to approve appointments of Acting Deans, subject to the provisions of Academic Personnel Policy 240-24, was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 2060, May 23, 1996 [superseded by DA 2150, December 1, 2004]. Effective immediately, I am redelegating that authority to you. You are also authorized to approve for Acting Deans academic-year or fiscal-year annual salaries up to $150,000. This figure will be indexed annually in accordance with the Consumer Price Index.

This authority may not be redelegated further. Salaries of $150,000 or more require Regental approval and must be approved and coordinated through me.
