UC IRVINE DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY |
IDA 301
February 4, 2000
VICE CHANCELLOR-ADMINISTRATIVE & BUSINESS SERVICES
ASSOCIATE VICE CHANCELLOR-ADMINISTRATIVE & BUSINESS SERVICES
DIRECTOR, UCI MEDICAL CENTER
DEAN, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE
RE: Redelegation of Authority - Service Agreements, Specific to Medi-Cal Application/Agreements and Medi-Cal Disclosure Statements
The authority to execute service agreements required with outside organizations, agencies, and individuals to implement approved programs and activities, whether the University is the supplier or recipient of the service covered by the agreement, was delegated to Chancellors by Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 1058, December 30, 1991. This authority was redelegated to the Vice Chancellor and Associate Vice Chancellor-Administrative and Business Services, the Director, UCI Medical Center, and the Dean-College of Medicine on May 18, 1998, (IDA 250) [superseded by IDA348 2/13/02; IDA 435 12/3/07; IDA 491 11/12/09].
The Department of Health Services (DHS) requires that Medi-Cal Physician Application/Agreements and Medi-Cal Disclosure Statements be completed in a timely manner. Meeting these requirements is the responsibility of the Corporate Compliance Officer, College of Medicine.
I am redelegating the authority provided by the above mentioned delegations (IDA 1058 and IDA 250), specific to the execution of Medi-Cal Physician Application/Agreements and Medi-Cal Disclosure Statements for the University of California, Irvine, to the Associate Dean/Corporate Compliance Officer of the College of Medicine.
Ralph J. Cicerone
Chancellor
