Re: Redelegation of Authority-Settlement Authority Requests
With respect to The Regents' Policy on Settlement of Litigation, Claims, and Separation Agreements, Presidential Delegation of Authority DA 2214 [superseded by DA 2222, May 29, 2009], and as required by Office of the President, Office of Risk Management Settlement Authorization/Review Guidelines, issued August 19, 1996, you are formally delegated the authority to review settlements on my behalf and sign Settlement Authority Requests.
The responsibility for the administration and resolution of Workers’ Compensation matters is assigned to the Chief Risk Officer, reporting to the Vice President – Finance (ref. BO 08020, July 8, 2008).
This supersedes IDA 434, issued January 3, 2007 on the same topic.
