Facilities Management & Environmental Protection Services
In close collaboration with the Planning, Design, and Construction Unit, Facilities Management develops strategies and policies to support effective and efficient operation, maintenance, and renewal of the University of California's real estate assets. Environmental Protection Services provides policy direction and oversees technical issues by identifying, coordinating and formulating responses to regulatory issues and other environmental matters that may impact the University.

Office of Loans Programs
Programs cover the design, delivery and management of housing assistance for recruitment and retention of faculty and senior managers in support of the education, research, and public service missions of the University of California. Includes links to the Mortgage Origination Program, Supplemental Home Loan Program, and other information including Salary Differential Housing Allowance Program.

Policy on Seismic Safety
Applies to both the seismic upgrade and repair of University structures damaged in an earthquake. It identifies the codes and guidelines for specific types of repair.


Facilities Management
Unit responsible for campus maintenance, operation and renovation of buildings, grounds and utility systems, custodial care, fleet services and engineering support.

Campus & Environmental Planning
Unit responsible for the use and physical character of campus land and its overall environment.
