RE: Redelegation of Authority--Nonresident Tuition Fee Waivers

The Vice Chancellor for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies and the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies are redelegated the authority to award nonresident tuition fee waivers supported by general funds and opportunity funds, other than those awarded by the Education Abroad Program and those restricted to undergraduates, and subject to the condition that priority for unallocated waivers will be given to dependent children and spouses of voting members of the Academic Senate and to dependent children of University employees whose permanent assignment is outside California.

This authority may not be redelegated further and supersedes the May 27, 1986 delegation of authority to the Dean of Graduate Studies from Chancellor Peltason on the same subject.
