RE: Delegation of Authority - Execution of Documents Necessary for the Conduct of Patenting, Licensing, and Intellectual Property Matters

Authority to execute documents necessary for the administration of intellectual property is to be carried out in accordance with the Reassignment of Responsibilities Operating Guidelines, University of California at Irvine, signed November 4, 1994 and subsequent revisions thereto. Senior Vice President Kennedy’s November 16, 1999 letter extended the Reassignment of responsibility for the administration of University patent and other intellectual property matters to the Irvine campus.

I am delegating the authority to you to execute documents necessary for the conduct of patenting, licensing and other intellectual property matters.

Any redelegation or reassignment of this authority shall be no less restrictive than this delegation and must be processed in accordance with UCI Sec. 103-12: Delegation of Authority and Signature Authorization Guidelines.

This letter supersedes IDA 582, dated March 21, 2017, regarding execution of documents necessary for the conduct of patenting, licensing, and intellectual property matters.
